Even though he recently split from Angelina Jolie he won't stop making huge amounts of money any time soon.

Tied with Brad Pitt we have Mr Kumar. Not a name most people outside of India are probably familiar with. He is a prolific actor appearing in roughly 4 Bollywood films per year and also hosting a reality tv show. Similar to other celebrities he also bolsters his bank balance by endorsing major brands like Honda motorcycles.

A surpsie drop from the number 1 spot is Robert Downey Jr. Despite a period of relative obscurity due to a substance abuse problem between 1996 and 2001. Robert managed to relaunch his career with incredible success. Due mostly to his excellent portrayal of Tony Stark in the Iron Man franchise and Sherlock Holmes, he is now one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. He is also a talented singer and producer. The reason for his drop to number 8 are probably related to sharing the earnings from Captain America: Civil War with his co-stars.

Another tie and another Bollywood star. Currently the most successful star in India he demands multi-million dollar upfront fees and a portion of the box office profits. His endorsements and advertisement deals also help to keep his bank balance quite healthy.

His primary income has come from his onscreen appearance as a tough guy illegal street racer in all 7 Fast & Furious films with an 8th soon to be released. But this is not his only source of income as he also plays the character Riddick and has been cast to reprise his role as Groot in the comic book sensation Guardians of the Galaxy to be released later this year.

Love him or hate him, he gets paid a lot of money and is clearly a capable actor, director, writer and producer. Also he is the new Batman.
